KPMG Still Negotiating Deal with Investors

The proposed $195 million settlement between KPMG and tax shelter investors stands postponed. The two sides now have some time to renegotiate the terms of the deal. KPMG s lawyers filed a petition that the class-action settlement would need to be changed since more than 60 of 284 eligible investors have opted out of the deal.

BearingPoint Rejects Series B Debenture Claim

BE has rejected a lawsuit claiming the company is in default on its Series B debentures because it has failed to make its filing with the Securities and Exchange on time.
