Consulting return to audit

I am considering a return to audit after 10 years in consulting. I left audit as a senior, and admittedly am far from experienced in audit now. Although I am at a very high level in consulting I would like to return to big 4 audit. Anyone have similar experience or know someone who has done this? Curious to know what level they returned at and if there are experienced re-hire training at the big 4 to bring someone like me back up to speed in audit.
