Tom joined Ernst & Young's Pittsburgh Office in the US in 1979 having graduated from Miami University in Ohio with a bachelor's degree in accounting & finance. He is a CPA and has over 25 years of professional services experience across a wide range of financial service areas. Tom became a partner in 1989, and in 2000 he became the Managing Partner of Assurance and Advisory Business Services (AABS) for the New York Financial Services Office. He has served as Global Coordinating Partner, and Senior Advisory Partner for a number of major financial institutions, including JP Morgan Chase, PNC Financial Corp and Federated Investors. Tom joined Ernst & Young Global in 2003 as Global Vice Chair of AABS and became Global Managing Partner of Client Service and Accounts in 2004.
