Pierre joined EY France in 1980. He was made a Partner eleven years later and in 1993 was appointed Audit Leader for southwest France. He became Managing Partner of the French Retail Banking group in 1996. Pierre was appointed People Leader for France in 1998. Two years later he took on the role of People Leader for the 13,000 employees in EY's Continental Western Europe Area. Pierre is a graduate of the ESC Toulouse School of Management. He is a chartered accountant and statutory auditor. He is also the author of the book L'enterprise Reparatrice,which outlines the crucial importance of employees' personal and professional goals to an organization. Pierre was named Ernst & Young's Global Managing Partner ? People in July 2005.
