POSITION SUMMARY
Our litigation consultants provide thorough research and establish sound foundations for opinions that enable our clients to successfully communicate their case. We have assisted national and international clients on matters ranging from complex accounting and auditing
issues to commercial litigation and complex damages, business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy and restructuring advisory services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Responsible for all phrases of a forensic engagement.
·Schedule and assign work to Senior Forensic Associates and Forensic Associates based on their knowledge and capabilities and monitor the progress of their work in meeting time constraints and deadlines.
·Review workpapers for accuracy and completeness and ensure they are prepared in accordance with professional and Firm standards. Maintain a knowledge of general economic, political and regulatory trends or other legislation that could affect the business climate
·Review with Partner significant findings that raise questions during the course of the engagement.
·Actively participate in the Firm’s practice development efforts, including expanding services to clients.
·Provide training, guidance and supervision to Senior Forensic Associates and Forensic Associates assigned to the engagement.
·Assist in the preparation of staff evaluations and participate in critical personnel issues.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
·Undergraduate and/ or Master’s degree in Accounting.
·At six (6) to nine (9) years of accounting experience with at least (3) years in an audit capacity including audits of SEC registrants.
·Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
·Participated in career development programs to improve managerial, communication and interpersonal skills.
·Solid understanding of forensic skills in areas of specialization.
·Strong decision making skills, self starter, ability to work independently, and willingness to lead.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills with client and staff.
·A current and valid Georgia CPA license is required.
·Must be a member in good standing with the American Institute of CPAs.
·Must be a member in good standing with the Georgia Society of CPAs.
