Accenture has been placed in the ‘Leaders’ quadrant in the “Magic Quadrant for Oracle Outsourcing, North America” report by Gartner Inc. Gartner stated that the Oracle Applications outsourcing has seen a rise in interest from enterprises. The Magic Quadrant has analyzed around 15 providers of Oracle application outsourcing in the North American market.
“We believe Accenture’s positioning in the Leaders quadrant by Gartner underscores our strategy to provide fully integrated technology capabilities and services – including systems integration, technology consulting, alliances and application, infrastructure and business process outsourcing – to our clients. When it comes to Oracle-based solutions, we have long been the first choice for a large and growing number of the world s leading organizations. More than 44,000 Accenture professionals provide implementation, upgrade and application outsourcing solutions across the entire Oracle suite of products.” said Kevin Campbell, group chief executive, technology, at Accenture.
Those acting as providers in the Magic Quadrant were assessed on two criteria “ability to execute” and-“completeness of vision”. The “ability to execute” judged providers on their capability to capitalize on their vision and how successful they were. “Completeness of vision” rated providers on their understanding of how market forces can be exploited to create opportunity for the provider.
The Magic Quadrant is a graphical representation of a specific marketplace at a specific time period. It shows Gartner’s depiction of how certain vendors measure against criteria in that marketplace, as defined by Gartner. Gartner will not endorse any service, product, or vendor that is depicted in the “Leaders” quadrant.
