Liam Kavanagh - KPMG The Irish Times has appointed Liam Kavanagh as Managing Director. Mr Kavanagh joined the Irish Times in 2000 as Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed to the Board in 2001 as Finance Director and Company Secretary and has held the position of Deputy Managing Director since 2006. Prior to joining The Irish Times, Mr Kavanagh worked with KPMG and the Jefferson Smurfit Group, where he was Finance Director for Smurfit Ireland. (Source: Rte.ie, 03/10/10)
