Bearing Point Overview
BearingPoint rose from KPMG and the consulting portion of that company in 1997. BearingPoint started in the business of trading on the NYSE October 3, 2002 as BE. At that time, the company had $3B revenues as well as 17,000 employees. These employees worked in McLean, VA. BearingPoint filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy subsequently on February 18, 2009. A competitor, Deloitte, bought the US Federal Services. PwC bought the Japanese as well as US Commercial practices. Since August 2009, BearingPoint has different offices located in Europe.
