What’s the history of the relationship between The Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) and Capgemini?
This is Capgemini’s first assignment with GTA and we’re excited to collaborate with their team. This Multisourcing Service Integrator (MSI) deal is very similar in nature to the program we currently support with the State of Texas.
Generally, what is the contract about and what needs will it serve?
As GTA’s Multisourcing Service Integrator (MSI), we are coordinating and overseeing the
integration of technology services by multiple service providers. State agencies utilize a variety of providers and our objective as MSI is to generate more efficiencies in how technology tools are leveraged across agencies. We will also provide service integration processes and systems, including billing, service desk, service catalog and request management, cyber security process management, risk and security management, among other services.
What are some of the highlights of the engagement?
These collective service offerings will help the GTA more effectively accommodate multiple service providers and respond more nimbly to agency needs and IT marketplace changes. Our aim it so ensure the GTA can consistently deliver quality IT services in a cost-effective and transparent way. This project is also expected to provide the State of Georgia with improved service delivery and agility in introducing new services to support innovation.
What’s in the future for this engagement?
We are focused on creating the foundation for a sustainable MSI program and look to provide other valued added services in the future.
