This is a terrific opportunity for a strong relationship and project manager to take on a leadership role with significant autonomy, flexibility, and growth. Potentially a Director or Senior Manager within a Big Four Accounting firm, who is ready for a change from Public Accounting to use their skills to do something fun, exciting, and of tremendous value to their clients. Or, this is an opportunity for a strong project manager from a large consulting firm to continue to manage client relationships, and teams of auditors, while overseeing multiple engagements with multiple clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight, management, profitability, and renewal of assigned commercial audit engagements, ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner, meet or exceed revenue projections and gross margin performance, and add value to the client in the form of recovered monies and enhanced internal controls. We seek an experienced client relationship manager to deliver the ultimate customer experience to their clients, and drive optimal business performance for the company. This role requires an exceptional individual with strong business, finance, and technical background who can help our client achieve this through their direct client engagements and their ability to help develop the tools, systems, and processes that enable this.

Specifically, this person will be responsible for leading a team of 8+ audit analysts and managers to effectively deliver results to their clients. Responsibilities include:
Determining and Achieving Profit and Loss (P&L) for assigned engagements
Planning audit engagements by predetermining the 1) financial plan, including revenue and profit margin, 2) development of project plans, 3) expectations of audit findings, and 4) time and resource requirements for the engagement including a quantifiable analysis of total hours to be spent on the engagement
Careful monitoring of each engagement
Identifying client needs presenting opportunities for scope expansion
Translating organizational objectives into operational goals and strategies to guid day-to-day activities
Creating and Implementing processes, policies, and procedures to ensure effective coordination and performance of various departmental units
Participating in the development of incentive compensation plans that drive productivity and individual accountability
Developing performance measurement systems and processes to monitor and manage performance

We seek a very polished leader, who has experience building and managing client relationships within large, global, enterprises.  This person must have experience managing a team, coordinating resources, project management, and knowledge of financial auditing, processes, and/or systems implementation.  

This person should have a minimum of five to seven years of experience managing complex projects, managing client relationships, managing a team, overseeing successful delivery of IT, audit, or consulting services.  This person must have experience managing a P&L, handling forecasting and reporting, and managing multiple engagements at one time.  Knowledge of procure-to-pay or accounts payable functions is important.  Experience must include managing employees and using metrics-oriented approaches.  Prior experience in post recovery auditing is preferred, but not required.
