Global Audit plays an important role in the overall success of Yahoo!’s business operations. We work with every part of Yahoo!’s management team – from Engineering and Operations to Product and Finance. Job Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Global Audit will be responsible for developing, executing and managing internal audits from start to finish and participating in management of continuous monitoring activities. This will include effectively managing the budget, resources, identifying, documenting, and testing key risks, controls and business processes. This individual will also be a key participant in the development of the annual audit plans and coordination of audits received from senior executives and other customer/business partner groups. The successful candidate will display an exceptional attention to detail, be able to prioritize and react quickly to a rapidly changing environment, create written reports that clearly describe the project objectives and results, operates with increased independence in managing complex task/projects and demonstrate a track record of completing quality projects on time. This individual will work closely with all levels of management and must be able to communicate project goals and expectations to all parties. This position will report to the Vice President of Global Audit.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience performing audits

• Bachelor degree with concentration in Business and/or Finance

• Additional Masters/Professional Designation (e.g MBA, CPA, ACCA, )

• Experience and understanding of key audit concepts such as frameworks, control design and operating effectiveness and risk management concepts

• Ability to work independently by planning and executing each audit project from start to finish

• Ability to demonstrate advanced writing skills and complete detailed audit reports

• Ability to contribute effectively in a dynamic team environment

• Strong communication and diplomacy skills with peers and all levels of management

• Willingness to go “above and beyond” to fully understand and stay abreast of external and internal factors that may have an effect on Yahoo!’s business

• This position may require at least 20 per cent domestic and international travel

Preferable Job Qualifications:

• Experience on audit projects with a focus on operational audits that are not compliance driven (SOX)

• Experience working in the technology industry

• Experience with risk management or continuous auditing tools
