Accountant

Accountant Corporate Finance Team of leading global business research and consulting firm is expanding. Excellent growth opportunity for sharp, personable intermediate level accountant! Responsibilities:?Maintain general ledgers for various entities including adjusting journal entries, inter-company accounts, foreign currencies, reconciliations and analyses. Participate in month-end close including monthly financial packages, reports and performance analytics. Aid in preparation of year-end audit work papers, financial statements, tax returns, annual budgets and other reports. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 2-3 years related experience. Solid knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Ability to understand, create and maintain complex spreadsheets, database applications and accounting systems; proficiency in Excel is essential. Familiarity with computerized accounting systems, Peachtree helpful. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
