We are currently seeking a Senior-level professional to serve as a WOTC State Certifications Specialist. The right candidate will serve as a primary business contact for WOTC State Coordinators across the country and is responsible for communicating the business the expectations of each WOTC state office. The Certifications Specialist is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to these government agencies and represent their needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality and compliance. In addition, the Certifications Specialist should build relationships with states and identify opportunities for obtaining WOTC certifications.

Essential functions and responsibilities

• Regular communication with State WOTC Coordinators and staff to ensure their expectations are being met
• Work with various internal teams to provide program updates
• Respond to questions posed from State Workforce Agencies
• Follow up regularly with State Workforce Agencies to maximize certifications
• Strategically review certification requests that have been sent to state agencies without receipt of a response
• Review and evaluate state performance, providing suggestions to the state and to the business on plans for improvement
• Co-develop solutions with internal team members on necessary accommodations resulting from program changes
