Director – Business Development
AGSI is a boutique technology and management consulting company located in Atlanta. We’ve been in business for over 30 years and are currently in need of a highly motivated sales and business development individual with experience selling managed services, professional services and/or IT solutions.
The position requires the potential candidate to prospect among key decision makers to identify and prioritize new business opportunities, effectively present our services and solutions and most importantly close the sale. The right candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to engage prospects and manage clients throughout the entire client lifecycle. In addition, it will also be necessary to think strategically and perform development and presentation of technical solutions, business proposals, contracts, etc.
Responsibilities include cold calling, generating new leads, following up on pre-established leads and managing the decision making process with AGSI Senior Management as well as client contacts at the CXO level. The Director- Business Development will be expected to grow our account base with a consultative approach to identify new clients and develop long lasting relationships to generate future business.
Responsibilities:
The Director- Business Development is responsible for selling AGSI’s Solutions and Services to corporate clients, small and medium businesses and various other organizations primarily in the Atlanta areaTo grow client base and associated revenue through coordinated sales activityManage overall sales cycle from pre to post-salesDeliver exemplary account related services according to company standardsTo work well as part of a dynamic teamTo meet monthly sales revenue goals set forth by senior managementBuild strategies for penetration and account developmentFollow up on existing business to ensure quality control, repeat and new business development
Qualification:
Minimum Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have approximately 15 years of experience in solutions and service sales, with the ability to demonstrate a high level of understanding of AGSI’s business model and offerings.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Significant, demonstrated knowledge in the IT/Management Consulting, Professional Services, Managed Services or similar industryDemonstrated experience managing sales pipeline, meeting sales and revenue quotasExcellent written and oral communications skillsExcellent business presentation and proposal writing skillsFour year college degreeSolid organizational and computer skills are a must; efficiency and time management skills are also keyCurrently reside in the Atlanta area with local business contacts. Be involved with local business and professional networking groups/activities
