Protiviti started in 2002. At that time, Robert Half International was the world’s largest specialized staffing firm. An employment understanding was reached with Arthur Andersen LLP for the hiring of over 700 professionals from the company’s U.S. internal audit and business risk consulting divisions. These were operating apart from Andersen’s external audit and attestation departments at the time. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Half International Inc.
Protiviti is a worldwide consulting company that helps firms solve finance, technology and operation issues as well as those in internal audit, governance and risk. The network has more than 70 offices in over 20 countries, and has looked after over 35 percent of FORTUNE® 1000 and Global 500 companies. Protiviti also works with startups and government agencies and companies looking to go public. Our experts have the advantage of excellent insights parallel with the biggest consulting organizations, however, we are adept at delivering client value.
Audit executives, management and audit committees are factions Protiviti is comfortable working with, as well as private or public firms. Working with their internal audit systems is our goal. We can fully manage an outsourced activity or work with internal audit functions to supplement any point where staff or skills needs a bump. Protiviti works with CFOs as well as financial executives to bolster finance activities and look after accounting issues that are complicated. These can include non routine situations like financial restatements. In addition, Protiviti helps clients look at their fraud risks and put together solutions to better manage them.
