We are currently recruiting for a Director, Global Services to join our dynamic team.



As a Director of Global Services, you will be responsible for: overseeing the successful delivery of multiple software implementation projects; managing a team of business consultants and project managers; and participating in the development of methodologies and tools used to foster project success, profitability and customer satisfaction.



Duties & Responsibilities:

•In collaboration with Varicent executive management, leads the development and the consistent application of efficient and cost-effective project management methodologies and tools for internal, client and third-party use.

•Participates in the preparation of the services estimates and statements of work (SOW’s)

•Oversees the bid and proposal review process to assess and account for risk

•Evaluates the adequacy of proposed solutions and ensures adherence to internal guidelines

•Leads the quality assurance initiative for Varicent projects and institutes procedures to improve project management effectiveness

•Works in conjunction with the rest of the team to develop a global Knowledge Resource Centre of project management tools and templates for the department

•Mentors and oversees professional development initiatives for the project managers and business consultants

•Contributes to the knowledge capital base by creating, packaging, and sharing knowledge capital created on projects

•Drives initiatives that incorporate budgeting and cost capturing tools into project methodologies in a way that facilitates the estimating and budgeting process



Education & Experience:•Minimum Bachelors degree in business, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience

•6+ years of experience as a project/program manager with strategic planning, resource and issue/change management responsibilities, and/or managing full life cycle of enterprise level implementations

•10+ years of application software implementation experience, related business experience or a combination of the two

•Certification in project management is preferred





Travel Requirements:

This position requires the successful candidate to travel up to 50% of the year, on a weekly basis. Candidates must possess a valid drivers license and passport and must be legally eligible to work and travel without restrictions through-out North America.
